A: Two hours before sunset is when the light is prettiest. Also, it is much cooler then. Shoot times will vary according to seasons, sunlight, weather and cloud coverage. Each day and moment will have its own colors, lighting and shadows. A full sun in a clear sky creates bright light, strong shadows and intense colors. Overcast skies create faint shadows, muted light and soft colors. Complete cloud coverage creates no shadows, white sky and pale colors.

A: Just give us a call 843-683-6883, so that we may customize your shoot. Since we have limited availability, we recommend booking your beach portrait as soon as possible so that you are assured of a time that is suitable for you. We do book up very quickly during summer months and around holidays.
A: The sitting fee is $100 for an immediate family, up to four people. Add $25 for each additional.

A: Yes! In addition to the wide variety shots of the whole group together, each individual family will get their own complete sitting as if they came out to the beach on their own. We accommodate any special groupings special requests you might have.
A: All the families we serve are special to us. We have experience in dealing with hearing impairment, cerebral palsy, and many spectrums of autism. Let us know if any member of your group has special needs. For example, it may be possible to assign two assistants for anyone with special needs, If your family needs special attention, we are more than happy to help accommodate you!
A: Our beach location has a paved entrance to the beach. For anyone having trouble walking on uneven sand, we have access to a beach wheelchair at no charge.
A: If you need to cancel your session for any reason, we ask that you do so as soon as possible. You may cancel within three business days before your shoot for a full refund. In the event of inclement weather, your sitting fee will be refunded if we are unable to reschedule your shoot time.
A: Simple, classic attire works best. Coordinating each family member's attire (same color and style if possible) not only creates a unified look, but a "timeless" look as well. Some suggestions are: Khaki bottoms (shorts, pants, skirts, skorts) and white shirts. White dresses for women and girls are beautiful in beach portraits.

A: Just your smile. You will not want to leave any items unattended in the sand, so lock your belongings in the trunk of your car: shoes, purses, diaper bags, strollers, cameras, cell phones, etc. Sorry, no other cameras or cell phones with cameras are allowed during the session. Your family members need to have their full attention on the photographer.
A: Your team of photographers and assistants during your session provide a seamless process. Shoots will only take approximately 30 minutes for an immediate family. Larger groups will take 45 to 90 minutes.
A: An assistant is crucial in getting small children interested during the shoot and keeping their attention with the camera. Having the assistant allows the shoot to flow quickly and the photographer to focus on capturing precious moments.
A: Your images from your beach shoot will be processed and edited, with regards to any image adjustments. These Hi-Res images will be delivered electronically to your email address that you provide to us. Groups with large families, will also receive a link, so there is no need for you to distribute images to your additional family members.
A: We provide simple, classic beach props - beautiful shells, nautical boats, white sand buckets and a wonderful white Adirondack bench. We also have an adorable boat for our littlest sailors. Our props are perfectly sized for children.
